Autumn challenge

Good morning folks,

Well it's Friday again and that only means one thing, it's time for a new challenge over at Stamping with the Dragon

This fortnight's challenge is 'Autumn Colours'

Here is my dt sample

This is a 5x7 picture in a photo frame.

I have used 2 papers from French roast papers and the digi stamp pennys apples.

I have coloured penny with my Noirs and added some white gel pen.

I matted and layered the papers and added lettering from my stash.

Inspiration piece

Good morning.

Well it's Thursday again, which means it is my DT day over at SDD facebook group

Sewing stamps

I was really stuck with this stamp for ages, i just didn't know what to make.

Until i got my new Ultimate pro boards.

This is what i have made 

I made a take away box to store my pin cushion in.

Dragon Challenge

Good Morning folks,

Here is my dt sample

I made a 12x12 scrap page of my wee boys 1st birthday cakes. He had 2 as we had one on his birthday and then had another one at his party.

I used Rupert's birthday, i coloured the digi stamp with my Noirs.

I used a glitter green 12x12 card for the base and matt and layered up his photo's on the blue spotty card.

Some inspiration pieces

Good evening ladies, sorry i haven't updated my blog recently.

So this post will have a few makes on it.

These are all inspiration samples i make for stamping with the dragon facebook group. I am part of the facebook group's dt and we all have our own day of the week where we show something we have made, do a pick of the day from the store, ask a question of the day and join in any fun that is going on with group.

For week commencing 14th October we were given folk art, i was given the buttons to create a sample with, here is my dt sample

I made an open book card and used the digi stamp Jiggys ipod as well.

Both digi stamps have been coloured with Noirs. I have added some candi to the card out of my stash.

For week commencing 21st October, we were given Balloons, this is my dt samples

These were a commision for a customer. These are memory boxes for a set of twins. I have also used Jiggys rattle, flowers, butterflies and bunting from my stash.

For week commencing 28th October we were given definitions - happy theme, i was given smile to play with.

I struggled with this sample, as i really didn't know what to make with it. So i have made a nice and simple card ( i think it looks really boring) but it's all about the wording.

Halloween

New challenge

                                                                      Good morning,

Well it's the first day of  a new challenge over at Stamping with the Dragon

This challenge is 'Circles'

Here is what i made for my sample 

I used my Cameo to cut out the round easel card.

I used Moonlight Unicorn and Lemonade papers ( only 2 sheets)

I decopaged up the image and covered with glossy accents.

Flower is from Petal Lu.

This is the 5x7 card I made

I also used Jiggys iPod stamp

New Challenge

Good Morning,

Well it's new challenge time again over at Stamping with the Dragon

This fortnights challenge is 'last rays of sun - yellows'

Here is my sample

I have made a scrapbook page for Hayden's book.

This is him with his grandad ( hubby's dad) when we were on our holidays in August in Lewis visiting family.

We went to the Carloway Show and the two of them ended up on the news that night and at the weekend.

Hayden is copying his grandad as he needs a stick because of his knees( he is awaiting another knee replacement, one has already been done)

I used Elves page kit and took it into Docrafts Digital and changed the colour.

Ruperts new friend

 Good morning,

Well it's my turn for my dt day on the facebook group for Stamping with the Dragon

So on my dt day i post a QOTD, my pick of the week from the store, i also do my Show Us Show US game and i post an inspiration sample of an image from store.

Here is my make for this week using Ruperts new friend.

This is an 8x8 card. I coloured the stamp using my Noirs. 

Topper and backing paper are out of my stash and the flowers are from Petal Lu

Stamping Dragon Samples

Hi folks,

Just updating my blog with my samples for the Stamping Dragon facebook group. 

Each week as part of the dt, i receive an image and i have to make up an inspiration piece to post within group on my chosen dt day. So every Thursday i post within the group a photo of my inspiration sample, i ask a QOTD and i pick an image from the Stamping Dragon store.

Buttons and Bows Challenge

Good Morning.

Well it's time for a new challenge over at SDD today.

The new challenge is Button and Bows.

All the Christmas in August entries were amazing, well done to the winner.

So here is what a came up with for the new challenge.

 

I used Jiggys rattle and he is coloured with Spectrum Noirs.

 Flowers are from Petal Lu, a very talented Lu over on facebook.

I made my bows myself, very chuffed with them.

Inspiration piece

Christmas in August

Well it's that time again.

I made my first gift bag and i used YooHoo card kit.

Free style blog hop

Well guys it's that time again.

It's time to hop along with our free style blog hop.

Anyways with it being a freestyle then that means

 we as a design team get to pick what image we use.

I decided to use digi stamp Rose Petal, i used the pre-coloured stamp.

I printed off 4 copies of the image and 

cut out different pieces of the image to decopage it up.

I love this image and for some reason i just thought of Christmas

New challenge over at Stamping with the Dragon

Good Morning,

Well it's time for a new challenge over at Stamping with the Dragon 

Challenge is 'Anything Altered'

 

I have loved this challenge as it has gave me something new to work on.

So the other week i was shopping in my local Rejects store and found these blank wooden B boxes on offer.

 So i grabbed 2 as i had something in mind straight away.

They sat for a few days then we got our info for the challenge and i thought why not use these for the challenge.

So here are my completed projects.

First up the blue one.

 This has been primed and painted with blue metallic acrylic paint. Then decorated with Jiggy in coloured crib. I have added Glossy Accents to highlight some of the detail. I cut the wording on my cricut machine. Added punched butterflies from my stash and add some gems for their bodies. The flowers are from Petal Lu and are just stunning.

Now for the pink one

This one is primed and painted with pink metallic acrylic paint. I have used Jiggys Hatchday for this one coloured with Spectrum Noirs and glossy accents. The wording has been cut on the cricut machine.

So now that you have seen my projects, i hope it has inspired you to have a go in the challenge.

2nd day of inspiration for me

Good Morning

Well it's my second day to post a piece of inspiration over at Scrapper's Delights 

So i have made another card using the lovely Amelia stamp again. 

She is available in store 

So here is my card

Stamping Dragon New Releases

Good Morning, well i have something new to show you all.

There is a new challenge going on over at Stamping Dragon 

It is anything goes.

The lovely and talented Janette made up a new stamp and papers for us all to use for this challange.

You can buy them as a pack from the store 

These were released on 21st June.

Here is my project.

I have made an A4 scrap layout to go into a photo frame.

This is a photo of me, my hubby Gary and Hayden ( who turned 2 on 21st June) on the first night of our holiday to Salou, Spain

To make the group digi stamp stand out, i printed out 4 copies and coloured in seperate parts in each copy (i forgot to take a photo before cutting out. I used my Spectrum Noir pens to colour the stamp ( list of colours used to follow)

 Starting from the left side of the photo, each character was coloured in the following colours : 

DG2, 3 and 4 and CG2

DR1 and 3 and OR1

BT 4, 5 and 7

LV 1 and 2, PL 1 and 2, CT4 and GB10

BP 2 and 6

TB1, 2, 3, 5 and 6

all characters are highlighted with a white gel pen and then decopaged.
